Michelle C. Nixon, MA, LCCC, LPC, CTC, Be Still Christian Counseling

Michelle started her counseling career after earning her Masters Degree in Christian Counseling, supplemented by several years of practical experience ministering to people in need. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University, and her Master’s Degree from Cornerstone University.

A certified temperament therapist, Michelle’s approach to counseling is to help us see how God is at work in our lives. “Temperament therapy enlightens us to see our God-given temperament, which in turn enables us to see where and why our life may be off track,” she says. To enhance her Christian counseling, Michelle also employs cognitive therapy and prayer ministry.

A member of the National Christian Counselors Association and the National Association of Biblical Counselors, Michelle says, “I feel the Lord is calling me to reach out and bring many in.” Michelle is also Professional Clinical member NCCA and a member of ACOA Adult Children of Alcoholics.

Michelle and her husband Brian have been married for almost 20 years, and are the proud parents of four children whom Michelle has home schooled in Howell.
